Joanne Ward and I met just over a year ago at a bridal event. We have collaborated on a few events including the planning of a Spring Trade Fair Event in Lacombe this spring. 

Joanne has a wonderful eye for style and a passion for making women look and feel wonderful. She has a wonderful background with Mary Kay Makeup and is a professional makeup artist as well as speaker, fashion fundamental specialist and the list goes on!

Nicole, Keith and I finally got to hook up again after our first attempt at a Maternity session! The first time, a terrible storm hit, causing the power to go out and us to not be able to go outdoors in the torrential down poar.

Keith and Nicole run a personal training business out of Sylvan Lake, called Fresh Start Fitness! I hope to find the time one day to go get my but worked off at one of their may boot camps.

It was worth the wait, Nicole looked radiant and is excited to have her baby arrive early September! Stay tuned for the newbie pics!

These two are CUTIES :) We had a fun filled weekend, with the girls....Keely is tough as nails and Camryn is a bit of a drama queen... just sayin.

They are full of life and just the type I love to shoot.

Lightining Maternity Session - Nicole Wade Photography - Alberta Maternity Photographer

Friday was an interesting afternoon! It was a day filled with repeat customers, and a big thunder storm! We lost power about 15 minutes into the session and it was out until midnight......lightning had struck a pole at the end of our driveway and caused major problems.

We managed to get a few great shots in..... and some silhouettes in the window once the power was off. Guess this just means I get to meet up with Nicole and her adorable family once more before the baby is born :)

E's Maternity Session - Nicole Wade Photography - Red Deer Rural Maternity and Newborn Photographer

Elicia, her son Drake and I had a great afternoon yesterday! (besides one little hitch !) Drake is the easiest kid to photograph. He LOVES to pose. His mom said that she finds him posing in the mirror all the time! So Cute. Elicia, really rocked her maternity session! She has a beautiful smile! I cant wait for the little bambino to be born! (hopefully the baby has eyes like Drake!)

Anyhow, I gotta get back to my edits! 1 wedding, 2 family and 1 maternity all in a week, gonna keep me outa trouble for a few more hours!
