Amazing Amber - Nicole Wade Photography - Central Alberta Glamor Photographer

Amber and I had a great time yesterday! I was super pumped to have a REAL singer with a REAL guitar! Which by the way she did strum, for just a few seconds! My husband has been wanting a guitar for a couple years now, but I keep skating around the subject. Truth is, I do not want to go through the painful process of hearing him learn to play. I love the end result, but the off tune playing could get under my skin.

After hearing Amber strum on the guitar a bit yesterday, I was sold. I might have to say only playing in certain parts of the house for now!

Anyhow it ended up being a bit chillier than we expected, so we mostly did studio shots, and snuck out doors for a few minutes at the end. This girl, I tell ya, has the most AMAZING eyes EVER! The eyelashes, I mean they are long and black and thick, wowza!

Amber is playing next Saturday at the Alhambra arena, south of the Alhambra store I am hoping to take my kiddos for a fun evening!

Boudoir Contest Winner - Nicole Wade Photography - Alberta Boudoir Photographer

Thank you to everyone who has entered my contest for a second blog name. This blog will feature glamor and boudoir style photography!! Exciting, I know. I know a few people had trouble entering, so I opened the contest up to email entrys as well! The winner will be mailed a $40 gift card to put towards a session. Plus after their session they will recieve a 5x5 look book of the images! AND because I loved ALL the entrys, I am going to send all people who entered a $20 gift card to put towards their next session!

So after much debate, I have came up with the winnig name, from tcb033, Poshe Poses! Which I am going to take the liberty of shortening to Poshe Pose! I will announce the launch of the new blog hopefully by the end of the month, most entrys will be used throughout the blog as titles and sub links, and will most definatly be used in the future when I launch a second website!!

I will feature monthly specials on this site, as well as sneek peaks (with permission from the slient, of course!)

We just got home from Aruba. Sooooo awsome. We got treated like queens. I will post a few photos for everyone, as soon as my laundry pile is washed!) The weather was fantastic.

Aruba bound, 6 days and counting! - Nicole Wade Photography - Alberta Wedding Photographer

My husband and I are headed to Aruba on Sunday! I am so excited. I won our trip as an incentive for selling Silpada jewllery! What a great opportunity! I planned to take my laptop, camera, flash and a couple lenses along with me but with all the airport security, I am not sure what to do now! I think I might have to try it, because it will kill me to miss all the great photo ops! I hope to keep you all posted as I am in Aruba, but for sure when I get home!

On another note, I couldn't get enough of editing Tyler and Sheena's session. So..... I decided to post a few more!

I had a wonderful Saturday, 7 days until we go to Aruba, and shooting Tyler and Sheena! They have a beautiful place near turner valley, defiantly gods country! Thank gosh it wasn't -30 but it was still nippy out! These two are such a great looking pair!

Lets kick off 2010 - Nicole Wade Photography - Central Alberta Grad Photographer

So I thought I would kick off 2010 with a bang (and a few more photos of Caity). The first 5 people to book their session , starting today, will get 10% off their session order.

Well on another note, I belive 2010 is going to be a great year, you get what you give! My first giving for 2010 is slated for Feb 13th. A Ronald McDonald house charity fundraiser in conjunction with the annual Sylvan Lake Polar Bear Dip! I will be ther (prey for good weather!) taking photos. We will have a little booth set up and you may get a photo of you, your family, dog, ect. 90% of all money goes to the ROnald McDOnald House in Central Alberta! Come out and get your shot and help out a great cause!
