Valentines Event - Nicole Wade Photography - Red Deer Family Photographer

Bla Bla Junior, BOLD beauty and myself plan a number of events throughout the year! We always have a photo shoot, fancy fingers for the kids, food and specials on at the store. It is a lot of fun for everyone!

This year we did a Valentines Day complete with cookie decorating, Cake Pops by Bolistik Glipsies, and food from SALT cafe! It was a wonderful day!

SALT cafe is so creative! These are desert sushi! FUN!

Then there I shot my kids and my nephew.... OH BOY! 

Defiantly a CHEESY smile!

They Wouldn't stop singing! Oh well I think it is cute.

I said give me your best smiles........ this is what I got.... unfortunate..... but they will look back and say what was I doing!

It Was an amazing day! I can't wait until our next event on March 31st at the Lacombe Memorial Centre! It's A Spring Thing! 

It is a unique family event with boutique vendors, food by SALT and interactive activities.

I love when I get to shoot the siblings of some of my favorite clients! Baby AJ is the sister to Bryer who has graced or blog quite a few times!

I am also glad that her mom will be back playing Softball this summer :)

Well, it has been a very busy and interesting winter for me. I am very thankful and blessed to have such amazing clients who trust me to capture moments in their lives. 

I have had the miss fortune this winter of loosing 3 family members. Not all at the same time but it has been a bit of a tough go. With this happening each time we all sit down as a family and go through our albums remembering all the great times that we shared. 

This has also brought me closer to my passion. For 2 of my uncles who passed this winter unexpectedly at very young ages, it reminded our family of how special those last moments and last photos of that person are. 

It is easy to get busy and not take the time to have wonderful images shot of your family, but as I have found out this winter, those photographs truly take you back to a time and place.

Calvert Family - Nicole Wade Photography - Red Deer Family Photography

I was blessed to shoot the Calvert family last week, These boys are HILARIOUS! They had us all in stitches throughout the entire shoot. They had some funny comments and random jokes! I loved it, I am usually the one saying something inappropriate like "chicken butt" to make everyone actually smile..... I have had some moms look at me like "thanks for that!" but in the end they are always excited to see their kids amazing expressions and genuine smiles!

Thanks for the laughs boys, I can't wait to shoot you with your dirt bikes!

Love is in the Air - Nicole Wade Photography - Red Deer Chick Wedding Photographer

Matt and Kayla got a wonderful day to shoot their Engagement photos! We headed out to a friends grassy field for the first part and then headed to one of my favorite "collectors" yards! I love to use colors and textures to add to my images, grass and metal are some of my Fav's!

We had a great time shooting and Kayla had a hard time choosing her fav's, which always makes makes me smile when my clients LOVE their images!

Eckville Playschool Photo Shoot - Nicole_Wade_Photography - Red Deer Children's Photographer

My Son Westen is in Playschool He absolutely loves it... as I write this I remember that I didn't post a image of him! lol.... maybe I will do a special post on him.

he absolutely LOVES school, I will ask him things like "do you want mom to be parent helper in class so I can stay at school with you" He replies "NO, I have teachers there mom, I don't need YOU there!" 

Well, I am glad he enjoys it! His teachers are great, and they defiantly have their hands full, if you ask me it would be a headache in a bottle! 

The Playschool board asked me if I would be interested in shooting class photos for them, Of course I said I would love to! I  thought it would be a great opportunity to do what I love best, but also meet more of the parents and kids in his class.

Some parents were so excited about it that they brought the brothers and sisters of the child in Playshcool to have them shot as well!

It was a fun day! The kids were funny and I got some great shots of them. Here are a few of shat I captured.
